Hank Hodde, Educational Outreach Coordinator
"Having grown up on the east coast of South Florida, I have always been in tune with the environment. Surfing and fishing, especially in the Atlantic, keep me in check with what mother nature can dish out. More importantly, having been impacted by hurricanes year in and year out, I learned quickly the importance of building sustainably.
After graduating from Florida State University with a B.S. in Residential Housing Sciences, I moved to Costa Rica to learn first hand how developing nations live sustainably and collaborate with their respective environments. After that, I landed in good ole' Texas to help fight with the green movement in the frontline of commerce and industry. Along with my role with the EGB, I am the Education Director for the USGBC Galveston Branch, a Green Builder by trade, and pursuing my Masters in Environmental Management at the Univ. of Houston - Clear Lake.
Go Green!"
