Welcome to...

The U.S. Green Building Council
Emerging Professionals

(formerly Emerging Green Builders)
USGBC National made the name change to better represent our actions and members.

Who we are...
We are not just architects, engineers, contractors, and building professionals. We have members from all industries and specialties and are open to everyone interested in a more sustainable way of life. In fact, we need EVERYONE to bring their unique backgrounds and experiences to a common ground so that we can really bring about sustainable changes on an even larger scale! The Emerging Professionals are students and young professionals dedicated to becoming and recruiting the future leaders of the green building movement. The Houston EP offers young people the opportunity to get involved in green building activities locally, gain access to USGBC resources, participate in local events, and to plug in to the local green building network.
