U.S. Green Building Council-Greater Houston Area Chapter is supported 100 percent through private donations.

No government or public funds are used for the promotion, education, outreach or advocacy of the mission.

This means our donors are critical to the process and we thank each one for giving to the chapter. They are the fuel that moves this chapter forward. Their support means USGBC-GHAC is promoting a market and cultural transformation completely from funds generated in the marketplace and our communities.

Without these annual donations, the predominate cross-cultural non-profit group dedicated to creating an environmentally-responsible, energy-efficient built environment would not exist.

The USGBC-GHAC recognizes seven levels of financial and in-kind committments:
* Environmentalist
* Sustainable
* Green
* Platinum
* Gold
* Silver
* Bronze

Depending upon the level of commitment, sponsors enjoy an array of accompanying benefits, such as:

* Tickets to exclusive events
* Links and logo placements on the chapter website
* Features on USGBC-GHAC member and outreach materials and other broadcast outlets available to the chapter
* Continuing recognition at chapter events through collatoral materials, such as brochures and posters

To learn more about how to join this exclusive and commitment group of high-performance supporters, contact us at 281-506-3867 or our executive director, Lora-Marie Bernard, at loramarie@usgbc-houston.org.
